It depends. Some patients are happy after one procedure while others prefer a series. The exact number of treatments needed will be discussed during your acne or skin care consultation. However, most patients who are matched with PicoWay do not have severe damage and do not require multiple sessions.
One of the biggest benefits of PicoWay is that there is no downtime. Side effects are minimal, if any, and you can return to your daily activities immediately. However, it’s important to protect skin with sunscreen at all times—and particularly after a treatment.
