TARA MCDERMOTT
Registered Nurse, BSN, CANS
Tara is an experienced RN and brings her dedication and aesthetics training to Neaman Plastic Surgery & Medi Spa. Having first received her nursing degree at Chemeketa Community College, and her Bachelors in Nursing Science at Grand Canyon University, Tara enjoyed her time working in a variety of settings including hospital in-patient surgery, peri-operative services, post-anesthesia care (PACU) and post-partum. And in 2010, she discovered her passion for aesthetics.
Today, Tara has refined her skills as an injector for facial aesthetics and frequently works with Botox, Dermal Fillers, Sculptra, Kybella, and more. And as a nurse, she wants to nurture and educate with a personalized approach. She believes when her client’s needs are met, it translates into significant changes in the way patients feel about their appearance. Tara’s goal is to establish lasting relationships with patients, providing them with quality, safe, and satisfying care while making people feel beautiful and refreshed. Her love of both aesthetics and surgery make her an excellent fit for Neaman Plastic Surgery.
In her spare time, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, reading, travel, backpacking, and everything outdoors. She grew up in Montana but loves Oregon’s and variety of landscapes all so close to where we live.
KARSON STRIANO
Registered Nurse, RN
After receiving her degree in nursing from Chemeketa Community College in 2008, Karson started her career at Salem Hospital on Post Surgical Telemetry and then moved to Silverton Hospital Med/Surg. Karson found her way into the operating room in 2011, working in many different specialties including plastic surgery alongside Dr Neaman. Plastics has been a passion for Karson ever since, bringing her to join Neaman Medi Spa in 2018. The knowledge she has gained in the operating room has helped her to hone her skills in the aesthetic world; ultimately bringing knowledge, finesse, and compassionate care to her craft.
Karson works with Botox/Dysport, an assortment of fillers, and many other aesthetic treatments to help her patients feel their best. Karson ensures that every time a patient leaves her care, they’re feeling both confident and beautiful. Karson believes that taking your time to get to know your patients, and what they want, is key to attaining a long lasting relationship.
Karson is married to her best friend, and together they have 4 active boys. They enjoy the outdoors, boating, and soccer. When she finds time to get away she enjoys reading, yoga, and sunshine.
LAUREN MEDINA
Nurse Injector
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Lauren began her career in the ICU and quickly expanded her expertise through roles in PACU, critical care, and travel nursing across the country. Her diverse nursing experience laid a strong foundation for her transition into aesthetics, where she found her passion in helping patients feel confident, empowered, and naturally refreshed.
Lauren received extensive mentorship and hands-on training in neuromodulators and dermal fillers at Ginille Beauty Aesthetics, where she refined her eye for facial balance and her technique as an injector. She brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to every treatment—always prioritizing safety, education, and natural-looking outcomes.
Lauren’s goal is to create customized treatment plans that align with her patients’ aesthetic goals while honoring their individuality. Her calm presence, clinical precision, and inclusive philosophy make her a trusted and valued member of the Neaman Medi Spa team.
KAELYN ALVISO
Nurse Injector Assistant
Kaelyn serves as a Nurse Injector Assistant at Neaman Medi Spa, where she is dedicated to creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient. Known for her warm demeanor and positive energy, she helps patients feel at ease, confident, and genuinely cared for throughout their visit.
Originally from California, Kaelyn brings a relaxed yet attentive approach to her role, ensuring each patient feels heard and supported. She is passionate about contributing to an environment where clients can feel both comfortable and confident in their aesthetic journey.
Outside of the treatment room, Kaelyn enjoys traveling, attending concerts, spending time on the golf course, and keeping up with her favorite reality shows. She is also a proud mother to her son, who inspires her daily and remains at the center of everything she does.
MADELYN BUNN
Nurse Injector Assistant
Born and raised in Dayton, Oregon, Madelyn serves as a Nurse Injector Assistant at Neaman Medi Spa, where she is passionate about helping patients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. She enjoys being part of the aesthetic industry and is dedicated to continuing her growth and education within the field.
Currently pursuing her nursing degree, Madelyn is committed to expanding her knowledge and strengthening her passion for patient care. Her warm personality and attentive approach help create a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient she meets.
Outside of the office and classroom, Madelyn enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
