NON-SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY

Also called liquid rhinoplasty, a non-surgical rhinoplasty is a specialized use of dermal fillers that can help straighten the nose, smooth out a hump or resolve other unwanted nasal flaws. HOW NON-SURGICALRHINOPLASTY WORKS

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is different from traditional rhinoplasty in that it does not remove any tissue from the nose, and it cannot make the nose any smaller. The procedure begins with a numbing cream being applied to the injection site to ensure your comfort at all times. Board-certified plastic surgeons Dr. Keith Neaman or Dr. Dustin Christiansen, and the aesthetic nurse injectors at Neaman Medi Spa will work with you to decide which dermal filler is best suited to achieve your individual aesthetic goals.

The filler solution is carefully and precisely injected into different areas on your nose and then massaged to sculpt and create a more symmetrical and attractive nose. Although a non-surgical nose job cannot physically reduce the size of your nose it can bring balance to it by shifting the attention off one particular area.

RECOVERY AND RESULTS FROM NON-SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY

One of the greatest benefits of non-surgical rhinoplasty is that there is no real downtime necessary post-treatment. Ice packs can be used following injection to help with any possible swelling, but most patients are able to return to their daily activities after treatment.

Results can be seen immediately and continue to improve over the next couple weeks. Just as dermal fillers used to correct the effects of aging on your face are not permanent, neither are the dermal fillers used for non-surgical rhinoplasty. Periodic touch-ups will be necessary to maintain optimum results and your desired facial profile.
