The recommended number of treatments is between 4-6 sessions. Your skin care provider will discuss your treatment goals, which will determine the number of treatments you need. Many patients see improvement after two treatments.

IS THE EXILIS ELITE PAINFUL?

Each person has his or her own tolerances. The procedure is relatively pain-free, but we do suggest drinking lots of water before your treatment to ensure the best results and to avoid dehydration in targeted areas.

HOW LONG IS THE DOWNTIME WHEN USING THE EXILIS?

Most patients are back to their regular activities right after their treatment. Sunburn-Like redness is present for a few hours after the treatment.

WHAT TREATMENTS WORK WITH EXILIS?

Exilis is very effective at tightening skin and has an added bonus of reducing fat deposits simultaneously. You may also want to ask your provider about Cellutone for improved skin texture and cellulite reduction as it can be used as a complementary treatment in conjunction with Exilis.

WHAT IS RESTYLANE?

Restylane is a widely used dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid. Restylane is a natural sugar that binds to the body’s natural store of water to enhance the skin by plumping it and smoothing it, to give it a youthful appearance. Wrinkles and creases around the lips as well as under and around the eyes are improved effectively with Restylane.

WHAT IS JUVEDERM?

Like Restylane, Juvederm is also made from hyaluronic acid and does all that Restylane does. However, there are two types of Juvederm: Juvederm Ultra, which is used for moderately deep facial wrinkles and to add volume to lips, while Juvederm XC is a more dense formula, used for much deeper facial folds.

WHAT IS SCULPTRA?

Sculptra is one of the longest lasting fillers, and it also stimulates collagen growth. It smoothes wrinkles and folds and is particularly good with the deep folds, such as the “marionette lines” running from the nose to the chin.
