Microneedling, also referred to as collagen induction therapy, is an advanced minimally-invasive cosmetic treatment that gently rejuvenates the face and neck by harnessing your body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Is microneedling painful?
You’ll feel very little discomfort during your microneedling session. We can apply a topical anesthetic to ensure you’re completely comfortable.
What skin concerns does microneedling work on?
Microneedling can address a wide variety of skin concerns, including lines and wrinkles, sun damage, acne scarring, uneven skin tone and texture, loss of skin elasticity, and uneven skin tone and texture.
How does microneedling work?
Microneedling makes tiny punctures in the skin, and that process kickstarts collagen production. With more collagen, lines and wrinkles fill in, scars heal, and the skin smooths out. There is also more structure, which tightens loose skin.
What occurs during microneedling?
During your microneedling procedure, we’ll start by cleansing the skin and applying a topical numbing cream. From there, we’ll apply the microneedling device to the skin and move it along the treatment area. Once the microneedling is done, serums will be applied to the skin.
Can microneedling be combined with other treatments?
Absolutely! Microneedling can be combined with PRP, PRF, Botox, dermal fillers, and much more.
How long do the results of microneedling last?
The results of microneedling can last anywhere from several months to a year, depending on your skin concerns, skin type, and how well you maintain your skin.
